The passionate people of the Auberge West Brome

As the conductor of a team of 50 employees, Michel Ménard is in charge of the inn, the restaurant, the health center, as well as the planning of renovations and improvements for the future. He has been running the inn since 2017.

His career path led him to become the manager of the Ripplecove Inn and the director of catering for the Jaro Group in Quebec City.

What makes him happy

He is surrounded by a wonderful team including Kim, the director of the accommodation. At the restaurant, their renowned chef used to work at FERRERA Café in Montreal. The staff is loyal thanks to the attitude of big family established in the respect.

What makes the hostel unique

The service is personalized and the welcome is very friendly. Being in the middle of some of the most beautiful countryside on a 200+ acre playground makes for a rather invigorating experience. The inn tries to innovate by offering new packages regularly, such as visits, sleigh rides in the winter and small treats offered in the room.

Hidden treasures

Mr. Ménard likes to take the time to walk around and rediscover the country roads to discover the architecture, the wildlife and the landscapes. He also particularly enjoys the gravel roads that run along the American lines between Frelighsburg, Abercorn and the Missisquoi Valley.
