Santa Claus Parade

A parade of floats followed by Santa Claus himself starting at 1pm
at Windmill Plastics and follow Knowlton Street to the village center and then Lakeside Street
to finish at Knowlton Academy where children can meet Santa Claus.
Sponsored by the Knowlton Lions Club.
While waiting for the parade, free hot chocolate will be served
at Le Relais Restaurant, corner of Lakeside and Knowlton!

Microbrewery Half Marathon
This race is expected for a 2nd year in Bromont and is the last race in the Quebec calendar for the last 3 years. Everything will be there for a sporting and festive weekend!

5K DES FLAMBEAUX, an evening race not to be missed! – November 12
Come and live the experience of a 5 kilometer course illuminated with torches at the Château-Bromont Golf Club!
A fireworks show will conclude this running event in style.

MICROBRASSERIES HALF-MARATHON, the end of year challenge! – November 13
Come and take on the hills in the mountainous setting of Bromont for this event that combines running and microbrewery beer tasting!
Distances for all are offered: 1-5-10-21-30K!

Michel Beauchamps | Musical Matinee
Spain is full of contrasts!
In a solo recital featuring the most beautiful pages of Spanish guitar music, Michel Beauchamp borrows from the finesse, lyricism and flamboyance of his classical and flamenco training to create a playing style that is as elegant as it is warm. An ideal recital to initiate an audience to this country and this instrument, thanks to the judicious comments of the artist, presented with cultural references of the country, freshness, poetry and humor, throughout the program.

Simply Jazz with Michel Donato | Aperitif in music
Internationally renowned bassist and member of the Order of Canada, Michel Donato, joins guitarist Robert Ménard in the presentation of Simplement Jazz. The double bassist, accompanied by his accomplice, presents a concert of « good old jazz » tunes. The concert is always accompanied by some jokes and anecdotes.

Screening of the film « Demain » | Cinema 7 pm – FREE
After learning about a scientific study that announces the disappearance of part of humanity within 100 years, French actress Mélanie Laurent and one of the founders of an ecological movement Colibris, Cyril Dion, travel the globe in search of solutions to avoid the disaster. Using testimonials from people committed to saving our planet, they imagine what tomorrow’s world could be like. A « responsible » movie night.

Christmas on Tour with Christiane Lampron | Conference
Most Christmas carols, especially in the French and English-speaking cultures, are influenced by popular themes inspired by the Nativity. These familiar melodies can be found in a variety of arrangements that take shape according to the musical ideas of composers such as Louis-Claude Daquin (1694-1772), Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713) and Vaughan Williams (1872-1958).

The Christmas of the Three Little Pigs | Youth Animation
A show inspired by the famous tale of « The Three Little Pigs » but with lots of twists and turns and all the magic of Christmas. Children will enjoy participating during the play to take sides between the wolf or the three little pigs … not so little as that! Performance at 12:45 pm. Reservation required.

Rock, paper, scissors | Contemporary Arts and Crafts Show
For this sixth edition, ceramic artist Rachel Grenon welcomes craft artists who distinguish themselves by their innovative and distinct ideas. They are fifteen artists to discover their exceptional work. This year’s tribute is dedicated to Rosie Godbout, a textile artist who, for the past 25 years, has sought to invent and refine a textile language that is at once open-ended, seductive and meaningful, and that questions the link between tradition and modernity. Admission: $2

Sutton en Blues

From October 15 to November 26, 2016
In Sutton, Saturdays in October and November resound to the sound of the Blues at the Auberge des Appalaches. For more than 10 years, Sutton en Blues has featured the best Bluesmen and Blueswomen from here and across Canada.

November 26 and 27, December 3 and 4, 2016
10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You will find about sixty artisans, creators and agri-food producers from the region offering unique products under tents, tipis and igloos. Campfires, music, tastings in a festive and very special atmosphere!
