Last week, I took advantage of the recent snowfall to take my friend Alex to discover the winter trails of Bromont. My focus was on the Gale Mountain area, which is my favorite because of the large number of developed trails and because it is perfect for beginner and intermediate hikers.
My friend Alex was not a regular outdoorsman and did not have any snowshoes in his possession. No problem, we were able to rent a pair for the day for $15 at the Bromont tourist office.
Please note that it is best to reserve your pair in advance for the weekend. We took advantage of our visit to the tourist office to pick up a trail map (you’ll understand as you read on that it was very useful) and some advice from the friendly staff. It is also possible to consult the Bromont trail map on the Ondago application which allows you to geolocate your position on the trails.
