Imagine an all white house

This monochromatic trend in interior design is both pretty and practical, but above all, most advantageous.

4 reasons why it’s good to incorporate white into your decor

1- Timeless and timeless

White, whether pure, bluish, with a hint of yellow, remains a classic, as does black. This color is not associated with any particular time or year. It’s a color that ages well, so it’s a good choice if you’re not a fan of decorating every three years.

2- Expands small spaces

Painting the walls of your small rooms white expands the space dramatically. It’s almost magic! In fact, it’s the best decorating trick to make a room feel big. Who doesn’t have a small bedroom that doubles as an office or a tiny bathroom? White, in its various shades, is perfectly suited for this type of room. That, and the use of mirrors, of course.

3- Bright

Bring the light into your home! White gives brightness and luminosity and refreshes a decor. The deeper or bluer the shade, the more arctic the effect. Be careful with too much cold white (blue, neutral, etc.) It would be a mistake to feel like you are living at the North Pole…

4- Calls for creativity: texture and finish games

Boring, the white one? Even in a monochromatic decor, it is possible to have fun playing with different shades, finishes, textures and materials! Consider adding a textured wallpaper wall, painting two-foot horizontal or vertical strips on your wall the same white, but with a different finish. The effect will be striking, creating distinct reflections depending on the point of view, while respecting the sober and pure effect of white. Add a long thread white rug to your decor, curtains with tone on tone embroidered fabric. Experiment, you’ll have a lot of fun, and the effect will certainly be worthy of a decoration store.
