Pur et Simple is a vegan and organic restaurant and juice bar located in the heart of the Old Village in Bromont. It is the first of its kind in the landscape of the bucolic village.
The owner, Carole Laplante has dreamed of this restaurant for years. Before opening in late August 2016, she focused on Life Space, a place designed for people’s well-being that she has been piloting for six years. Therapist, dentist, osteopath, beautician, life coach form part of the Espace Vie team.
Carole Laplante bought the building next to Espace Vie two years ago. She renovated the ancestral house with recycled materials, invested close to $400,000 to continue in the same vein as her first project, but in a food version.
The wave of organic, healthy and vegan eating has arrived here. Now she’s convinced. « The comments from customers all point in that direction. They keep telling me that it was missing in Bromont, » says the businesswoman.
His menu is therefore entirely composed of dishes designed in their simplest form. Meal salads, fresh juices, nut-based cakes, croissants and vegan whipped cream. « Without it being a religion, I believe in the old-fashioned culture, in the simplicity of food, » explains Ms. Laplante. >>>
The first vegan hangout in the beautiful city of Bromont! The menu offers a wide choice of meals made from organic products: meal salads, fresh juices, wraps, healthy bowls, etc. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options.
We tried a wrap, a peanut sauce bowl, an apple crisp with oatmeal ice cream and a small raw fauxmage cake… We had a great time!
Important assets: the restaurant has a large terrace at the front for the beautiful summer days, and our friends the dogs are welcome thanks to two tables located a little further back for them and their owners.
