Tibbits Hill School: Built in 1844 to replace a log structure that had been erected in 1827, the one-room fieldstone structure served as a school for English-speaking students until 1928. The school was donated to the Brome County Historical Society in 1937 and has been part of the Brome County Museum buildings since 1967. Visitors will be able to admire the school in its original state and furnished as it was at the time. Located at the corner of Tibbits Hill and Maple Road, the school is well worth the short drive from Knowlton.
