Townships: House on the Lake

This 2016 build was heavily influenced by the two clients, wanting a home that reflected their interests in the land, nature and music. The contemporary atmosphere can be felt both inside and outside. With its large windows, the privacy of the residence remains intact as it is completely surrounded by nature.

Made by the architectural firm ACDF, the house is distinguished by its small footprint, lack of complex mechanical systems and vernacular approach. It blends naturally into the landscape, with its hemlock wood used and its sometimes blurred physical boundary. Thanks to V2com for the beautiful architectural discovery.
