The sights of Stanstead

Haskell Library and Opera House
The Haskell Library and Opera House were built to straddle the border between Canada and the United States. The hall dating from 1904 has been preserved in its original state and can accommodate 400 people. Performances are presented from May to October by American and Canadian artists.

A local curiosity, Canusa Street (CAN-USA) is divided in two by the international border: on one side, there are Canadian houses and on the other, American houses. At the end of the street, at the intersection with Principale Street, we can see the customs posts facing each other.
