The production of sunflower oil, a golden oil with a nutty taste, rich in vitamin E, K and omega 9, has become a must. On his land in Upton, he grows eight hectares of sunflowers. Mr. Champigny’s passion for sunflowers was born during a trip to Spain with his wife in 1998. « We saw a beautiful field of sunflowers and we had a crush. We then said to ourselves: why not in Quebec? » he says.
