Gaétan Gélinas, the developer who built the Coldbrook condos is currently offering to live on a hill in the village. Already 6 of the 15 lots are sold.
They are factory built, which ensures better quality control. Also, they are done in impeccable conditions and not on a site subject to humidity and rain
Contrary to popular belief, manufactured homes use 15 to 20% more wood to be more rigid. These houses are lifted by crane and must be solidified to withstand them.
A house can be lived in 6 weeks after it is placed on the lot. While the flooring is being done, the factory is building.
