The church of St. Paul had a bell tower. The train arrived in the center of the village. There was skiing at Mount Glen. Knowlton Academy looked quite different. Long before the village bookshop there was this building. Around the library, we have mature trees now. On Victoria Street, many « General stores » have been created. On the other side of the bridge, we see the building that was there long before Star Café. At the beginning of the century, there was a gas station in the heart of the village in front of the Bank of Montreal.
