Located on the “Route des Vins” which criss-crosses the Brome-Missisquoi countryside, Knowlton is the ideal stop at the beginning or end of your journey.
The village of Knowlton is buzzing with discoveries. I propose a journey that will lead you to taste the little gastronomic treasures to bring back.
The public market
To begin with, it takes place at the public market on Saturday mornings. For local vegetables, it’s heaven. At the Knowlton Public Market, local producers offer fruits, flowers, vegetables, meat, cheeses, bread and prepared foods.
The 5 other stops
The jams of Paniers Champêtres
The Italian grocery store
The bread of the Panissimo bakery
Espresso at Buzz Bistro
Creamed sugar and fudge at La Vie Sucrée
What is your favorite place?
If you have any time left
The path to the beach
Return to the trail and continue to the beach. It’s a 15 minute walk to Douglas Beach. And enjoy a picnic.
