Resident of Brome Lake: he was chief editor for Tintin

Henri Desclez was an illustrator and author for Pilote, Tintin, Spirou and San Antonio, chief editor for Tintin, director and editor of the Sogides group, and cartoonist and producer of numerous cartoons.

In 1976, he emigrated to Quebec and joined the Héritage publishing house. He participates with the scriptwriter Andrée Brault in the creation of the monthly series Brisebois et compagnie. The following year, he was offered two new bi-monthly series,
Nic and Pic
and Monsieur Tranquille. After four years with Héritage, he founded his own publishing house, where he developed, among other things, derivative products for Tintin, Gaston Lagaffe, Goldorak and the Smurfs.
