Jewels of the region

Located on the slopes of Mount Sutton, the Chapelle Ste Agnès vineyard was established in 1997. Henrietta Anthony, an English-speaking antique dealer of Czech origin who immigrated to Montreal, invested $12 million in the project. The vineyard takes its name from a stone chapel erected on the same site several years earlier and dedicated to St. Agnes, a Bohemian saint who lived in the 13th century. The vineyard has about 7000 vines and specializes in the production of ice wine and other dessert wines.
