The firm naturehumaine shares with us its most recent project, the splendid Bolton Residence located in the Eastern Townships. The client purchased a wooded lot in the middle of the forest and wanted a country home that would blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The highest point on a rocky plateau was the perfect place to establish the new building on this very rugged terrain. The house is characterized by two superimposed volumes, one made of embedded wood that supports the second, giving the impression of being suspended like a tree house. A glass panel provides a panoramic view of Mount Orford and the color black separates the different rooms.
