A vineyard to see in Fulfort

Located in Fulford near highway 10 between Bromont and Brome Lake, is : La Belle Alliance. This vineyard is the only one in this region, while most of the vineyards are located around Dunham.

In 2015, the current owners, Carolyn and Brock Dagenais were looking for a castle in France. In order not to be too far from their family, they finally opted for a magnificent estate in the Eastern Townships. On site, in addition to the huge residence of classical style, there is a vineyard plantation created in 2009. In all 33000 vines on 7 ha. of very rocky terrain. On a rocky ground the vine gives better fruits because it has to fight more. The owner Brock Dagenais comes from a family from Toulouse in France and grew up in Western Canada.

The Michelin guide has been talking about them lately:
Look for La Belle Alliance Winery, founded by Carolyn and Brock Dagenais. They produce six bottles, including their 2017 Entre, an orange wine that the Dagenais say “has notes of nectarine and candied ginger on the nose and mouth “.

For the preparation of their wines, they had to do more than 43 tests in which they adjust different levels of temperature and fermentation, thus avoiding having a too high acidity level.

To discover in the meantime: Their wines l’Amour et Toujours.
